08 Yamaha YFZ 450 OR 08 Suzuki LTR 450 quadracer?

I am gonna get one of these 2 but im not sure which one should i get ...

Im like never on a track but i just like 450s over the trail riding raptors and ETC.

I have heard great things about them both ...

I like Suzuki because the fuel injection and the wide form and improved suspension.

The YFZ is Carburetor ...

But i heard the suzuki ltr 450 quadracer focuses on bottom end power and acceleration.

I hit straight aways alot sumtimes and i dont want to lose my top speed / top end power.

is the yfz significally faster on top speed.
Would i get smoked by a raptor or a yfz on a trail / dunes if i had the suzuki?

I like the suzuki a little more but the YFZ has this HYPE and everyone thinks there better.

I just dont wanna get smoked.
Should i get the suzuki or YFZ?

honestly if i were you i would pick the suzuki and this is coming from a guy who used to race yamaha.

yfz450 has the suzuki on top end yes but that's stock

are you planning to do anything to the quad like a pipe or bore the engine out?

here ill put it in perspective

if you got a suzuki and you wanted to race it all you need is nerf bars a pipe and a cherry bomb programmer (benefit or fuel injection)

with a yfz bore it out pipe Nerf and new pistons

as far as you racing a raptor if you take a raptor in a drag your going to get smoked all day. its a 700cc engine v.s a 450cc

as far as mx racing with lots of woops berms and jumps you can smoke anything with a suzuki

but you said your going to be doing mostly trail riding anyways so i would go with the suzuki better riding in variable conditions.

only down side to it is if it breaks down your going to have to take it to the shop cause i doubt you have the knowledge or tools to fix a fuel injection engine (no offense)
