08 Suzuki C90 OEM Windshield

Well I put on my OEM C90 windshield today, after I put it on I noticed some dirt on the windshield around the inside section of the bucket of the shield, then I looked again and realized that there were 2 pieces of plastic/lexan put together. Well this has to be a first for me dirt will and has gotten between the two and you can not clean the screen. Is this the way they are all made or do I have a bad windshied.
 
You mean around the headlight? This should only be one layer thick. BTW, you are installing a shield at 4:00 am???? You should at least wait until noon so you can have beer at a reasonable time.
 
LOL, Got a point there, I just found out what that extra piece of plastic is. It is a template for around the light bucket, I took the screws off on the 2 sides a wala the extra piece came off, why it was left there I don't know but at least the windshield is OK. The instructions say nothing about it.
