We just bought an 08 Ford Focus, and are wondering what kind of gas should be used in it. The car is rated to run "Regular" fuel with an octane rating of 87, but should we buy the "Premium" 93? Will it damage the car if it's put in there? The book says it's not designed to run "Premium" and can increase problems with using it, but I also read somewhere that "Premium" reduces pre-ignition problems.
