i bought a performance chip from a guy on ebay and he said it was supposed to give me better gas milage and give me a couple of more horsepower. i opened the little black module up and there was a positive and a negative wire going through it with a resister connected to them. did i get ripped off. the stripes on the resister are yellow, purple, red, and gold.
