I've got a 2007 Suzuki drz400s. I know the stock jetting isn't the best even and rejetting can help with power. But I've got a few modifications too it that effect jetting themselves. I've got an aftermarket Scorpion exhaust, I cut the 3x3 mod in the top of the airbox, and it has a K n' N air filter to boot. What is the proper jetting as far as the jets go for it now? I know the stock main was 142.5, and I have a 134 in it now because that's what the dynojet jet kit manual said, but it said for a stock airbox, which mine isn't. I've been told for the mods I have to just use the stock 142.5 and go with the aftermarket needle and all and the slow jet is just fine. Basically I want to get the jetting as close to perfect as I can for now. I'm going to get the FCR conversation carb kit for it. I hate the stock vacuum carb on it because of the characteristics of it. The reason I think the jetting is off on the vacuum carb which it currently has is because the plug was white when I last checked it, thus being too lean. And I don't know if this has anything to do with it, but once I get it past about 60mph the engine starts to shake pretty bad. It's just the engine, but I don't know if this could be caused from misjetting and it therefor being unbalanced and all, or if it's just suppose to do that, I'm not sure. Anyhow, I just want to know the proper jetting for it with the mods I've done to it. And any other info about my bike you want to tell me, I'm willing to listen
. Thank you!!
