07' Mazda 6 with 100,000 miles?

My friends parents are moving out of the country and they have to sell their cars. One of these cars is an "07 Mazda 6 with the 2.3 I-4 156-hp engine. It's got leather seats an multi disk cd player and is in great condition overall. The only problem is that it's got a 100,000 miles on it. I was wondering what a fair asking price would be and any issues with a car that has that many miles on it (the miles were almost all freeway miles, they live in Texas so they have to drive long distances a lot).
 
With that many miles I would offer around 8000...thats a low number but ya never know how they will be willing to deal since they know you and the are in a position that they have to/have to sell it
