07 jeep liberty having chugging issues when accelerating and normal driving.?

momentarily loses power through the powerband several times. The best way to describe is a (slight) chugging feeling. Example: you know when you tow a vehicle and you feel a tug from the weight while driving down hyw? I recently installed OME lift.
still on stock wrangler st's.
