For the last 2 weeks, my car's brakes have been acting funny. it started when i was on my way home from work, and i noticed my brake pedal was getting very sensitive and very hard. and when i let go of the gas (without pushing the brakes) my car would slow down very fast as if i was pressing the brakes. so the next day when i left to work i noticed i had to press the brakes all the way down just for my car to start slowing down. and the more i pressed the brakes the less i had to push down until the brakes would just hold.
for example: i'm at a stop light, and the light turns green, when i let go of the brakes, my car doesn't even budge, and when i press the gas, it feels like my brakes are still being pressed.
i took my car to a mechanic and they told me my brakes were fine, the pads still had more than 50%, and the roders and calibers where in good shape. i told them what the problem was, they took it for a test drive, and they didn't encounter any problems. so i left and the brakes were working perfectly. i thought just by them taking the stuff apart and put it back together fixed the problem... i was wrong, this morning when i went to drive of, they were back to being stuck. any ideas on what the problem could be?
