05 toyota tacoma, orange wire, sony xplod, illumination?

What's up all? I have a question,

I have an an 05 toyota tacoma, sony xplod and purchased a scosche wiring harness made for my make and year, all wires match up perfectly except there is no orange wire on my sony xplod harness, just on the scosche harness, where do I hook that up, if I don't will it illuminate, and if I don't what do I do to keep it grounded, a wire nut?

Don't ground the orange wire; you'll end up blowing a fuse. Just tape it up so that it can't cause a short. It doesn't need to be connected.

Some after-market decks have an illumination input and some don't. Your Sony apparently does not. It's not necessary for the head unit or the lighting to work properly.
