04' Chrysler van heater does not work when driving. It works when idling at high RPM....

...Coolant level/temp is OK?
Appreciate the responses thus far. Temp sits at mid pint on guage, so I believe the thermostat is working as it does rise/fall moderately. Heard about a vacuum swith problem that allows heater core to receive fluid?? Any experience with that?
 
Most likely your heater core is getting blocked up, the higher rpms are making more force to push through the heater core.
 
Replace the thermostat. It's stuck open so the engine can't get hot enough to yield heat.
