My car is making a grinding sound accelerating from a dead stop. It will range from times, sometimes it won't happen, but normally you can hear it, and it has gotten worse over time. I've looked around to get some ideas as to what it could be. My guess is it may be my power steering pump, since a few months ago every time I had made a right turn I heard a grinding sound, turned out to be my power steering fluid was low. After it was filled everything sounded fine. In the middle of last summer I had spent a day working on the car, cleaned out my intake filter, hooked up a new air hose, and filled up the power steering fluid since it was a little low. After I had done this the noise I mentioned with accelerating had started. Just wondering what this may be?
