02 Ford Ranger making Strange sound?

2002 Ford Ranger v6

Recently changed an oxygen sensor bank 2 sensor 1 then from that day on - it started to make a strange sound, hard to explain...sounds like something is loose & banging around or something cranking....It makes the sound when I go in reverse, or if I'm driving and let my foot off the gas pedal...any idea what it can be?
 
It could be that the wire connector is bumping around on some thing, or heat shield was bent a little to get around under there and is bumping.
Check the wires going to the o2 sensor where they connect. Make sure the connector is clear of stuff and secured where it should be. The heat shield may have been bent a little and needs to be moved back some.
I had an engine mount break on one and it made a sound close to what you described but you could really tell it in reverse, kind of a shuttering bump sound.
