It's gone to the dealer and they couldn't find the problem but here it is. My car has been getting poor gas mileage (around 25 mpg) and has a slight hesitation at idle. Hooked up my scanner to watch it run and found the spark advance at 40, the MAF at .211 - 11.4, fuel pressure varies from 35 - 42 psi, and the ECT at 235 degrees. While testing the car today with the scanner on it, I unplugged the MAF and it died so I'm thinking that is helping the engine keep running. Of course no codes from the computer. Everything I've found online says the DPFE, MAF, O2 and the dealer says a possible IAV. I don't want to dump a $1000 into a $2000 car so I need your help. If it is the DPFE how do you test to see if it's bad?
