First off, the A/C on all cars use a lot of engine's energy, so if everything checked out ok with the A/C system, it's most likely your engine. As far as the misfire that you believe you may have, check your distributor, which passes on the electric current from the battery to the spark plugs. When you open the distributor cap, there should be a small gap between each of the metal contacts. Without the proper clearance between each gap, the electricity won't pass through to the spark plug(s). Check with your dealer or a local mechanic to investigate. For you engine "overheating," it's becuase your engine has to work harder becuase of the misfire in one or more cylinders. That, or the sensors on your truck are bad.

i have done a tune up and changed out spark plugs and ignition coils but it steel runs rough recently the ac stop working the compressor doesn't kick inn... and when i get on the high way if i go over 60 it starts to over heat but then if i slow down it goes back down.. also in between 40 and 50 it shakes like when u have a bad wire or coil... is there a sensor or something that im missing
