Just put a CV axle on the passenger side, and a new spindle (same side). Now for some reason I get some kind of clunking noise out of the front end while in motion. Noticed on a small hill, that when it is in park the vehicle rolls like its in neutral. I noticed that the axle can be moved back and forth about an 1in. I thought when i put it in that it would click in there tight but it was pretty easy. Does anyone have any ideas? The noise sounds more like a grinding rubbing noise, but only every few seconds. It isn't consistent with the wheels in motion. But I couldn't see anything that it could be rubbing on. Didn't have the noise prior.
