I have a 01 Ford Ranger 4.0L v-6
Manual transmission.
147000 miles on it.
I had the clutch done 2 years ago.
Now the reservoir for the clutch fluid has a leak but I can not find where it is leaking from.
I will fill it up to level and after a day or so I have to refill it and the rubber diaphragm has to be taken out and re set to its normal state, filled back with fluid and cap back on for normal use.
I have followed the fluid line from the reservoir down to the transmission and have seen no leaks.
What else should I check?
What needs repair?
Someone suggested to rebuild the transmission, yet I don't see how this will prevent the slow leak.
