01 chevy cavalier 2.2L automatic knocking noise in front end when turning the steering

wheel while parking? I have already replaced the front struts and upper bearing plates, but the noise continues. Has anybody else run into this problem? the rack and pinion is tight and looks like it is in good shape. I checked the ball joints and tie rod ends and everything is tight.
 
definatly sounds like constnt velosity joint,they are about 75$ if you do it yourself
 
I had several older model cars that did the same thing and it was always the c-v joints...Dont know that that is, but the mechanics always did! lol
