01 chevy 8.1 or 99 dodge v10?

I own a 1999 dodge 2500 ext. cab long bed v10 with about 90,000 miles. It is a 4x4 slt Laramie with no problems, and an automatic transmission. Now my friend really likes my truck and wants to trade me for his truck. He has a 2001 chevy ext.cab 2500 8.1 hooked to a 5 speed allison transmission. it is also a 4x4 with about 48,000 miles. But his is just a plain work truck that came with manual everything but he had it changed to automatic door locks and windows. It is very nice and i really like it. Is it worth trading my truck for?
 
this is the thing, they're both roughly the same when you talk about working it as in towing and hauling,your truck is made for comfort added onto the work ability, his truck is made more for just work, so it really depends on if you want to keep your comfort or if you want just a work truck, its basically a toss up so it depends on if you want to stay more comfortable as a daily driver in your dodge or have just a work truck like his
 
no i wouldnt that 8.1 will get about 8-9mpg. i dont know what you are getting on your v10 but im sure its not the best either. if it was me and i love my dodges i would not trade. i would love to have a v10
