01 Acura Cl with major transmission issues, Honda recall warranty just expired..any

recourse? After speaking to Honda Canada, I realized that there was a major recall on these transmissions but the extended warranty (7 years because of all the problems) has expired. The car is immaculate and only has 125000 km on it.
