I haven't seen the film, but I can tell you that the Fundamentalist/Evangelical movement is largely considered to be a reaction to secularization and modernity.
Hi, I just would like to know everyone's thoughts on how the film "Jesus Camp" relates to and illustrates the trend toward greater secularization? And how did you think the people in the film reacted to this trend?

somebody needs to make a movie about the camps that the movers and shakers of our politics and media go to, run by super gurus like Arianna Huffingon's John Roger, Andrew Cohen, others in the Oprah circle.
That was quite the spooky film, I'll say that. I'm not sure what you mean when you say that it "illustrates the trend toward greater secularization." The whole documentary was about people who fully reject secularism. Maybe you should further elaborate on what you mean to ask here.

Being a "soldier for Jesus" doesn't just imply but states emphatically that one will kill and die for Jesus. Not The U.S., JESUS!!! If Jesus were here he'd slap the spit out of these false prophets.
