““Vengeance is mine” sayeth the Lord;” why would a god desire vengeance?
I learned something yesterday from the bright sparks on Yahoo answers. Vengeance is not a behavioral trait found only in humans; it’s a behavioral trait found in any social animals, especially in social mammals. It’s to do with the social ladder, you see; the group members higher up the ladder have more breeding opportunities and better quality of life, so no group member wants to be on the lower rungs of the social ladder. The group members who get picked on and treated disdainfully without seeking vengeance find themselves in this lowly position. So a desire for vengeance is an evolved animalistic behavior. In that case, why would a god, that allegedly made the entire universe, desire vengeance, an emotion of animals?
Amen Brother: that's just like a random statement. It's not responding to my question at all. Why speak if all you can say is nonsense?
