well I wouldnt advise being out of shape. Your going to have a lot to worry about at boot camp and physical fitness is one thing your not going to want to worry about..

The coast guard is a zero tolerance branch. Once you test positive for any drug you cannot re-enlist, EVER. At least not in the coast guard. Sorry to hear that I used to smoke to but I stopped because the Coast Guard is way more important than getting high for me.. good luck!!
