    Photoshop paths not a vector?

    Is it true that a photoshop path is not a vector? Well I tried creating a vector by using the pen tool. I then used the path stroke and now when I enlarge the image, it looks blurry and looks more like raster than vector. How do I convert a path to vector or shape?
