I have a 100cc twin from the early 70's and was wondering if anyone out there knows how the alternator is wired up. or where i can find information as to how it's wired up. My battery will undoubtedly go flat very fast as it has dual coil ignition. any help would be greatly appreciated =D

It really isnt worth it, they almost look the same anyway. you probably could do that anyway

There is nothing wrong at all =D 900 is more than enough for tickover. yes it does have an alternator. Your alternator only comes on after a certain charging voltage is reached (maybe around 1-1200 RPM) hence your lights get brighter, this is perfectly normal.
