    why does my xbox controller keep flashing? 5 stars for a good answer?

    ok it keeps flashing its NOT wireless its got a cable cause wireless was pissing me off with the battery thing and yeah it keeps flashing and it makes a faint beep beep beep beep when i have my mic plugged in some one help thanks plugging it in and out doesn't help
