Yes I just recently went to windmobile today and I asked the same thing. They will only be getting it around sept. oct. And you cannot buy any other bold 9900 unless its from tmobile because it will not work at wind. Tmobile will be getting it august 31.
When something went wrong with my sim card I had to get it replaced. It was $10. And fortunately i had everything saved on my phone. I hope all goes well. :) Hope this helped.
