    Don't these LED backlit new laptop monitors don't look as sharp as the previous type?

    I don't know if it's me, but ever since I got two new pc, one Acer laptop and a Asus pc monitor, (this one very big and very high resolution) I feel that the images aren't sharp. It's as if they are too bright and I can see the grid in the windows, the little dots, whereas with my older laptop...
