I have a Toshiba laptop, and I just found my Philips Webcam. I installed it but every time I try to use Skype, or stickam or VLounge it says "No PC camera was found on your computer". It's plugged in but I don't know why its not working. help!

I'd plug it in and it would be stuck at 58% charge and then it would just shut off and restart again. How do I fix this? I'd prefer not to go to the apple store because I don't have one close to me.
