When I have my phone on silent mode through the switch. Everytime I touch the top left corner of my iPhones screen it vibrates. And one time when the silent mode was on, my phone still rang out loud due to me pressing the top left corner of my iPhone. I need help ASAP. Thank you!

I use apple headphones to listen to music on my torch. And when I get a text message or social feed, the music stops. This happens a lot. Than I remove the battery and power the phone back on and the music plays even if I get a text message. Is there any way to fix it without having to take out...
