I bought a 1964 impala and i was told it had a 327 in it but i pulled out the motor and it did not have a harmonic balancer on the outside of it when i took the pulley's of and i thought the only small block chevy that had a internal balancer in it was a 400 please help. Thanks Josh

Is a SBC 400 internally or externally balanced? And is a Sbc 327 internally or externally balanced? Also what is a way i can tell a difference between the two
