    can i unlock my iphone 3gs version 4.1?

    i wanted to unlock my iphone but i restored it and i updated it and my friend said that i cant unlock it no more:(. and idk if he was just lieing or not but i will like to know if there is a way to unlock it . its a iphone 3gs 16gb . version 4.1 if so can u send a link with it so i can unlock it.?
