I've owned this car a number of years. It's an Australian built Mercury Capris. It has ran quite well, but now stalls (engine dies) when placed into reverse gear. It will still back up but is quite a battle getting it to accomplish this maneuver. Trans is automatic. Engine is 1.6L 4cyl, no turbo.
