    What is the longest type of short story, but too short to be a novel?

    I want to write a short story, but the idea is too short for a novel, but I want it to be pretty long. Isn't called a memoir or something? To make it pretty decent, I'd need around 30-50 pages.

    And please don't say FanFiction, because I'm already a member of that site- and I was hoping for a webiste where you can submit original ideas instead of making a story off an existing one. Thanks ahead o' time.
