    laptop to VIZIO using HDMI cable?

    i have been using my VIZIO TV as my laptop screen using an HMDI cable. everything worked perfectly until i unplugged it one day and now when i try to play sound it doesnt work. when i go to the playback options the HDMI option isnt there anymore. and tips or suggestions would be great!
