    How does the bell and hammer game at a carnival work?

    If the pivot point is suppose to be dead center, then what affect will moving the pivot point have? There would be a relation with speed vs power. I guess the real question is if the speed that the "ball" moved up decreased but the power behind it increased, would it still travel the same height...
