I have a bb 9700 on 3 mobile. My mum wants my blackberry, she is on orange. I know this will not work. It it easy to unlock my phone? Can i go to a shop? When she gets her new upgrade she is giving it to me. I understand the phones at carphone warehouse are unlocked so would my 3 chip work?

How do i do it, or can i just go to a shop? Is it expensive? Ive managed to scatch mine. I could get a new phone on my insurance but its a long process having to damage it, send it out and wait for a replacement, and a 25 pound charge!
