    Why won't my AV cable work with my new iPod?

    I have one of those special iPod compatible AV cables and it worked fine with my old 5th Generation iPod. However, i recently bought a new 160gb classic and I can't get it to work with the new one? The cable says it is compatible with ALL iPods. I don't get it?
