    i connected my hp laptop to my hd tv by HDMI cable,at first the screen came on then?

    a sitting box(i guess) came out and i just put [ok],and after that the screen on the tv turned only the background of the laptop.u cant see no desktop icons or the start Button or the internet window that was opened(so i couldn't watch the movie) then i unplugged the HDMI and did the steps back...
