When it's on, each channel shows a different game. The HD channels are usually duplicated on two of the SD feeds (NHL1 through NHL10). The countdown is on.

The delay in changing channels is usually a second or two for me, it seems to vary sometimes, but is never six or seven seconds. It may just seem that long compared to other receivers/cable, etc. Try timing it, and if it is six or seven seconds, there is possibly something wrong. I'm not sure...

My point exactly. BEV gave it by mistake for free, just like they screwed up and gave booker his receiver for $7 off per month. If they don't recover the costs from all those that got free stuff, then why should booker be on the hook for BEV screw up?

Your cheapest solution would be to set up a TO billing/service address. Then get the bills e-mailed to you. This would get you nearly all Leaf games (assuming you have the sports pack(s)), and any that aren't included in the regular TSN/CBC/Sportsnet schedules should be available on Leafs TV...
