    scholarships and sports question?

    iread somewhere that if you do the same sport all throughout your highschool year you get a full ride scholarship...how exactly does this work? is it guaranteed? because i'm a 10th grader and i was a cheerleader last year and now this year. can i get a full ride scholarship?
