i got my push rods mixed up. i know the shorter ones are for the exhaust but i cant tell which valves are intake or exhaust. i assumed the ones sitting sliightly higher were intake ?

i just replaced a head gasket on one side of the engine. I understand that the engine absolutely has to be in top dead center. So all i have to do is check the timing and then i can reinstall the rockers and push rods and then i can put everything back together ? ? ? If i see the timing mark...
