I need to fix the turn signal/dimmer switch and have removed the steering wheel, but cannot see how to go any further. I need a diagram or someone to tell me how to take off the collar/enclosure to expose the column. Thank you.

I need to fix the turn signal/dimmer switch and have pulled the steering wheel, but cannot see how to go any further. I need a diagram or some guidance, as I have never had to mess with the column on any of my prior vehicles.

I think My starter solenoid is bad. I turn the key...nothing. Was hit and miss , then nothing, period. Checked neutral safety switch, replaced ignition switch. When I ground out the solenoid, it will start fine, every time. My question is, since I have to buy the starter and solenoid together...
