    When I burn a cd onto a disc it won`t play on my stereo but will play on the PC?

    I do not think even CD RW work on a HIFI - CD-R are the preferred variety - if using Mediaplayer - make sure that you are saving WAV files - not MP3 ( I think it does the conversion anyway) and that you ar choosing to make "audio disk". If just dumping files using XP/VISTA - again wav files...
