    i owe $ to collections,and i want to go to college w financial aid, will i get it?

    Financial Aid as far as like Pell grants and stuff don't look at your past collections history unless you owe them or the government like student loans and Stafford, Perkins and whatnot. As long as you don't owe them any money and you qualify for aid then you are good to go
