    do i need primer to paint over purple?

    2 years ago i painted my girls room dark purple and we are over it. i wanted to paint it yellow or green. do i need primer first before i do this? do i need to paint it white before? what would be the best way? thanks for your help.

    Can you write a story using another author's characters?

    I'd definatley get permission from the author AND publisher to avoid a possible lawsuit in the future. The characters and towns (if they are fictional) are property of both the author and publisher.
