I find that many apparent "seekers" are really just looking for a church that suits them, they are still setting the agenda, they havn't surrendered at all. I was like that until I realised I just needed to make room for God to so what he says - give me his Spirit then let Him show me daily...

Has anyone tried / is anyone trying alternatives such as Hippy/commune, Wicca, eastern religion lifestyles but found that you and other people involved were basically the same. Well meaning perhaps but that's it.
