    What fish need heated tanks...?

    ... none unless you are able to keep the tank at a fish toasty 72 degrees.... the only fish that can thrive with no heater really are pond fish (koi, gold fish, carp) absolutely not chichlids, or tetras, or any other tropical fish, like paddies or mollies... you can get a good hearer at walmart...
