american cars don't tend to be very reliable. try a nice Japanese car like a Prius, you wont tell the difference from a Charger and Prius. ;)

it is a combination of those things. its an old and very powerful engine and the lift and tires add excess weight. there could be other facts contributing to your poor millage. poor quality gasoline (the expensive stuff is worth it, i put it in my 1998 corolla) dirty air filter dirty cylinders...
