im trying to determine if my starter or solenoid is bad, its a 76 ford 460ci engine, the solenoid is on the fender and the starter is seperate, using a screwdriver i have been told is the best way to test, so exactly how is this done
either one is fine really, the only difference is the weight, 10w is thicker than 5w, so it gets up and through the engine quicker, myself i dont use fram filters, they are bottom line filters, i'd try using a different filter
