I read that as they are flagships for S^3, not true flagships in the traditional sense. IMHO, the N9 will be the flagship as there currently isn't a real one.

I think this is a problem that occurs everywhere. And no, it's not only the dubbing, sometimes even the subtitles are all wrong or just "almost" right.

It'll probably never happen. Both series have been established to exist as a TV show on the other, so I suppose the shows can't co-exist in a canonical fashion. Bender has guest-appeared twice on The Simpsons, both of which were non-canon.
